The Claus de Celler winery was born from a family tradition rooted in past generations and currently has more than 28 hectares of vineyards with native varieties such as Xasan, Malvesia and Monastrell. Our Winery is located in Fontanars dels Alforins, which is a town of 1024 inhabitants located in the province of Valencia, in the Vall d'Albaida region at 625 meters above sea level, giving it a special microclimate that makes the The dry valley of Fontanars is known as “Valencian Tuscany”

THE WEATHER

The climate is Mediterranean, characterized by hot, dry summers, and cold, wet winters, with some sporadic snowfall. The average annual temperature is around 14 °C, with minimum temperatures that are quite low in the winter months with frequent and high frosts in the summer months. Precipitation is quite scarce with an annual average of around 525 mm.
